    Abstract: The pitch motor, serving as the pivotal element of the pitch control system, significantly influences the reliability and safety of the system and the entire wind turbine generator unit. This paper is dedicated to investigating the effects of torque and speed on the thermal equilibrium of the pitch motor through theoretical analysis and experimental validation, thereby offering a scientific foundation for the development of control strategies for the pitch motor.
